Viewing and change power setting of the desktop:

By default, desktops go to Sleep Mode when they remain idle for a long period of time. This means that the operating system saves the work being done and turns off the desktop. Since, this software should be working round-the-clock, it detects when the desktop is set to go on Sleep Mode and enables the user to change the Power settings to always keep the desktop active. You can also go to the Power Settings article and read more about changing the Power Settings from the Smartlens software.

The image below shows an alert the Smartlens software displays when the desktop is about to go to Sleep Mode. You can click the Yes button to go to the Power Options for your desktop.

The Preferred plans section on the Power Options window allows you to change when the desktop goes to sleep. Select the Balanced radio button to view and change the sleep and display settings on your desktop. It has been highlighted in the image below.

You can now select the Never option on the drop-down-list in the Put the computer to sleep section. The Never option has been highlighted in the image below.

Your desktop has now been set to never go to sleep and remain active for 24 hours.
